We've had several snow days this year; however, they have all been really slushy and mostly melted by the time we late risers rolled out of bed, ate, and got ready...
It's the first of spring and so, naturally, we got snow. Hopefully it's the last, though. I love the snow days with my girl but I'd rather not go to school through July (do you hear me, Mother Nature!?)
We got a little more than the >1" they called for. By the time it was done snowing we probably had close to 4"! It was good snow - snowball snow.
Lucy, as we expected, absolutely loved it. Later in the day she even came up to me with her snow boots and said, "swedding? 'no boots?" bless her heart, the snow was already gone.
She's the best.
