Halloween #2

Lucy's been alive for three Halloweens but we obv didn't go trick-or-treating the first one.

Last year she was still such a baby to me - dressed as a cupcake and going only to a few houses.

This year, a baby cupcake turned into a beautiful little princess. She was so big to me on Thursday. She was  so excited about going around the neighborhood, she said trick-or-treat and thank you perfectly (one lady even thought she was so sweet for putting back a second piece of candy she accidentally took that the lady gave her a whole handful!) 

I was so proud.

She walked away from every house saying, "I need more, mama!" and off to the next house we went! We finished going up the street and decided that we'd hit one more really close to the house and when Mark put her down off his shoulders she told us her feet hurt. She managed to go up to the house for one more piece of candy and a pet of the cat. 

We all slept well that night and have been snacking on our loot ever since.

We stopped at Lucy's babysitters to visit before we went out. She started back this week and we could not be happier. BTW she is a step ahead of Patrick in this picture - she is def bigger than him but this picture makes her look giant...

We got so lucky with an unusually warm night.

Usually Mark and I are looking at the wrong camera... this time it was Lucy.
