Perfectly Content

I don't always love weird-o John Mayer, but I do often like his music.  I've really liked this particular song for a long time now.  Whenever I'm in certain moods I like to listen to it and feel content in my place in life.  Weird?



I also love this quote:
"Sometimes happiness doesn't come from money or fame or power.

A modest one, yes, but we live a good life and we are happy.  I sit here now with my doggy waiting for my husband to get home from work and I just feel perfectly content.  And, after a crazy week at work, I'm glad that I can sit in my home, snuggled on the couch and feel fine.  Not great, certainly not miserable, but thankful.
