Santaaaaaaa

We have taken our sweet-ass time in getting to see Santa.
Either I'm out of town, Mark is working or whatever, but we just hadn't made it.

Santa has been around since MARK, yes my husband, was sitting on his lap.
The Fleishers know him personally (Mr. Row) as he did the announcing at the football and baseball games when Mark played in high school.  Still does it!

Unfortunately, Mr. Row Santa wasn't there.  We saw another.  He was wonderful.
First of all, we got there at the perfect time.  We literally waited for 10 minutes... 4 families were in front of us.  I was fully expecting to wait a really, really, really long time.  The website says wait time could exceed 2 hours!!!

They have quite the little system there.  We talked to the Ice Queen first who was very sweet and carefully enunciated Lucy's name and that it was her first Christmas.

When it was our turn, Santa turned to us and said, "LUCY!!  We are all so excited about your first Christmas!!!"  It was so fun.

She did a great job; for the first minute until she realized that a strange man with tons of white hair was holding her.  No screams, though; just a cry.  And we were done.

At least we got one good pic.  No smiles but at least she's not screaming!!

We had a lot of fun and are already prepared for the screams that I'm sure we'll hear come next year!!! :)

Merry Christmas!
